Miss Universe 2012 to be held in the Philippines???
According to a Shamcey Gurrea Supsup Facebook statement, the Department of Tourism is in the process of negotiation with Donald Trump to bring Miss Universe 2012 Pageant to the Philippines. The Advertising Executive Ramon Jimenez Jr was quoted as saying: “We are in a negotiation , Miss Universe 2012 could be held here in the Philippines, Miss Universe has yet to check the plans.”

Laura Beyne was crowned Miss Belgium 2012 on Sunday, January 8, 2012 at the Casino de Knokke in Knokke-Heist. Laura from Brussels is 19 year old and stands 1.72m. She will represent Belgium in Miss World 2012 and Miss Universe 2012. Laura Beyne was the first runner-up in Miss Brussel 2012. The first runner-up was Aurore De Geest and the second runner-up was Jade Moens. The top five completed with Febe D’Haenens and Sherelle De Jong.
