Happy Birthday to Miss America 2012 Laura Kaeppeler! She’s celebrating in Wisconsin this weekend for her homecoming. Below is the photo of Miss America 2012 Laura Kaeppeler’s homecoming festivities in Wisconsin! Joining her for the weekend are Miss Oklahoma Betty Thompson (1RU at the 2012 pageant), Miss Arizona Jennifer Sedler (3RU), Miss California Noelle Freeman (4RU) and Miss New York Kaitlin Monte (2RU)!

Laura Kaeppeler, Miss America 2012, visited Underwood-Memorial Hospital on on Tuesday. She received a warm reception from the patients and hospital staff. Camera phones and curious eyes were rampant — something the 23-year-old Miss Wisconsin winner said she’s still trying to get used to.

Miss Wisconsin Laura Kaeppeler was crowned Miss America 2012 in Las Vegas on Jan. 14, and promises to bring attention to her own interesting platform of aiding children of incarcerated parents, as well as being the ambassador for the organization’s national platform, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.

According to the Miss America Organization, Amway awarded a $50,000 scholarship to Miss America 2012 Laura Kaeppeler, and more than $300,000 to the other Miss America contestants on January 14, 2012, at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas. The Amway scholarships help empower American women to achieve their personal and professional goals. With her scholarship, Kaeppeler plans to pursue a family law degree. Prior to the pageant, Kaeppeler earned an undergraduate degree in music and vocal performance at Carthage College.
During her reign, Kaeppeler will serve as an ambassador for Amway and its brands, including its flagship brands ARTISTRY® skincare and cosmetics and NUTRILITE® vitamins and dietary supplements. In fact, the ARTISTRY brand serves as the Official Skincare and Cosmetics Provider of Miss America.
