Meg McGuffin, a 22-year-old Ozark native, was crowned the title of Miss Alabama 2015 at the conclusion of the state pageant held on June 6th, 2015 at at Samford University’s Wright Center. She will represent the state of Alabama at the upcoming Miss America 2016, scheduled for September 13rd, 2015 in Atlantic City.

At the time of her crowning, Meg is reigning Miss Phenix City. She is a Auburn graduate and is pursuing her master’s in administration of higher education. However, with the title, she will take a break to take on the duties as Miss Alabama.

McGuffin is looking forward to expanding her personal platform “Healthy Is The New Skinny,” as well as working with Miss Alabama’s official platform, Children’s Miracle Network. For talent competition, she performed Jazz Ballet en Pointe “Enigma Variation” from The Matrix.
McGuffin is the former Miss Alabama’s Outstanding Teen 2007 and is the first Miss Alabama’s Outstanding Teen to be be named Miss Alabama.
– The first runner-up was Briana Kinsey; the second runner-up was Hayley Barber; third runner-up was Jessica Procter and the fourth runner-up was Rachel Persall.
