As the Miss Georgia 2013 pageant will be held later this year, too late to choose the representative for Miss Universe, the organization has apparently appointed the former Miss Georgia winner to represent the country in Russia. This news is still awaiting confirmation. If it is true, this is a quite goods news for Georgia.
Last year, there was rumor that Janeta Kerdikoshvili would compete in the Miss Universe 2012 pageant but in the end, Tamar Shedania went to Las Vegas instead of Janeta.
Janeta is 22 years old and stands 1.74 m. She is a graduate from the University of Tbilisi with a degree in Journalism. She was crowned Miss Georgia 2011 during the annual ceremony held at the Art Center in Batumi on October 1st, 2011. Janeta has dual citizenship with Georgia and Russia.
We’ll keep you in the loop as soon as the news is confirmed.
