There’s a good chance the Miss World Winner will emerge from Beach Beauty Finalists. During the past years, eventual Miss World winners all ranked high in the Beach Beauty competition. The Beach Beauty fast-track was created in 2003 as part of Miss World’s new format.
This year’s competition officially started by reducing the 115 beauties to a lucky group of 40, who will try to become this year’s first semi-finalist in the Beach Beauty fast-track competition, on Saturday. Auditions for the talent show are also coming up soon, and do not forget the other three qualifying awards at stake: Top Model, Sports Woman and Beauty with a Purpose.

If Miss World becomes so “predictable”, and thier winner will come from the top girls in BB – based on this theory, all contestants who were not chosen for Beach Beauty should not continue on – they should just pack thier things and go home, MWO would be very stupid to do this again – it will be very bad for the rest of the contestants – basically the pageant is “over” after Beach Beauty

But I believe that they are doing the exact opposite – maybe the winne is not included in Beach Beauty at all – think about it for a moment all the strong girls are not in BB….Brazil, Venezuela, Slovakia, South Africa – all have great bodies, but were left out????

It will be interesting to see what will happen this year….I cant wait for the results of both Beach Beauty and Miss World 2010!!!

You are right!!! Miss World will become predictable if that will happen again this year. If that will happen again, it would be better to change “Miss World” to “Beach Beauty”. LOL

I also noticed that some of those who are in the leader board, or should I say the front runners did not make the cut? How would that be? If BB is an additional points in selecting the semi-finalists then those who did not make the cut, would probably out of the game.

Well, we still don’t know what will happen. This maybe also an strategy of the organization to make noise for the pageant.

    Goodluck girls!!!
We still have 2 weeks more for the result and I can’t wait!!!

No Venezuela , South Africa , Belgium , Philippines and Brazil… extrange list….¡¡¡¡¡¡

Miss world really has a bad taste in choosing girls since last year.

I agree, the MW are awaird and Extrange every year chossing the winners or finalists by Julia Morley. I don’t have a problem with Beach Beauty Top 40 but to say some of these women have better beach bodies than South Africa is verry laughable
